Kanika Batra also known as the Female Andrew Tate is an influencer, content creator, author, model, trained opera singer and mental health advocate largely known for her videos about being sociopathic. She began posting modeling photos to Instagram in 2014 and videos about living with sociopathy to YouTube in 2020, expanding to self-help, discussion and advice videos on TikTok in 2022 framed through the voice of a "diagnosed sociopath." In late 2022, some began comparing Batra to Andrew Tate for her opinions on dating and love, prompting the nickname "female Andrew Tate" among some internet users (though Batra refutes this comparison).

Online History

She made her first post to Instagram^[1] on August 12th, 2014. She gained a significant following on Instagram over the years with her modeling photos, gaining over 180,000 followers by October 2022. On June 26th, 2020, she posted her first video to YouTube, where she discusses living with sociopathy, garnering over 45,000 views in two years (shown below). The majority of Batra's YouTube videos are about living as a diagnosed sociopath.

On November 30th, 2020, Batra published her first book, Honeytrap, a historical fiction novel.^[2] Her highest viewed videos were posted to YouTube on April 21st and 26th, 2021, respectively, garnering over 275,000 and 270,000 views in a year (shown below, left and right).

In 2021, Batra entered the Miss Earth Australia beauty pageant, where she became a finalist, although she did not win.^[3] On August 26th, 2021, the Miss Earth Australia YouTube page posted a video where Batra tells viewers about herself (shown below).

In July 2022, Batra became a finalist in a Miss Universe Great Britain 2022 pageant but did not win.^[4] On October 12th, 2022, she posted her first video to TikTok^[5] (@notkanikabatra) garnering over 330,000 views in two weeks. She continued to post videos discussing what it's like living with sociopathy over the following months, often beginning with the phrase, "I'm a diagnosed sociopath." Since she began posting, all of her videos have gained hundreds of thousands to millions of views (examples shown below). On October 20th, 2022, The Sun^[6] published an article about Batra. On October 21st, the New York Post^[7] published an article about Batra.

Comparisons to Andrew Tate

As Batra's videos continued to go viral on TikTok in October 2022, some people seemingly began comparing her to Andrew Tate for her opinions on dating and love. One video that contributed to this was a post to TikTok on October 19th, 2022, where she discusses how she dates, saying she goes mainly for looks when it comes to dating men. She said if there's no stimulating conversation she ghosts the man and that she wanted men to "pursue her properly." The video gained over 1.3 million views in six days (shown below, left). Another contributing video is an October 22nd post about seduction that garnered over 2 million views in three days (shown below, right).

On the same date, Batra posted a video to TikTok where she directly refutes comparisons to Tate, saying, "I talk about mental health and instead of listening, men seem to just insult my physical appearance. I’m not insecure, so I’m fine with that, but there are plenty of women who are." She goes on to say, "Some women still stick up with these men which I find absolutely ridiculous. Ladies, it’s time for some pushback. I’m a sociopath, trust me when I say these men are gaslighting you." The video gained over 900,000 views in three days (shown below).
