Jshock, also known as Jshock9nine, is an American Twitch streamer and TikToker who has dwarfism and other physical disorders. He gained a large following on TikTok and Twitch for his fast-food reviews and Rainbow Six Siege gaming. Jshock amassed fan edits and memes in 2025, following several notable clips and moments like his "no look handshake" and his alleged interactions with model Sophie Rain. Jshock also started beef with fellow TikToker Midget Mafia OG in 2025. Many of Jshock's fans say that he's "gumming," which is a reference to his way of speaking and the shape of his mouth.
Online History
Jshock posted his first TikTok[1] video on May 23rd, 2021, gaining over 500 likes in four years. The video showed him making a hip-hop beat. Thereafter, he posted several beat-making videos on the app.
Jshock started reviewing food in July 2022.[2] His videos gained momentum heading into 2023, but his videos didn't go widely viral until 2024.
His first viral TikTok[3] was shared on March 29th, 2024. It was a review of a McDonald's Fillet-O-Fish sandwich, and it gained over 41,500 likes in a year (shown below).
Jshock reached over 10,000 followers on TikTok on May 3rd, 2024. He posted a TikTok[4] on the day to celebrate the milestone and revealed why he rates food on a scale of nine instead of 10. It received over 70,300 in a year (shown below).
Jshock began streaming on Twitch in April 2025, as his clips were reposted by TikToker[5] @jshockclips as early as April 19th. The video posted on the day received over 136,500 likes in two months (shown below).
Midget Mafia OG Beef
On March 19th, 2025, TikToker[18] Midget Mafia OG (@certifiedmmog), known for the Favorite Candy, Reese's Pieces meme, responded in a video to a comment from Jshock, who wrote, "I got the same mug but I sip it better," referring to a Buc-ee's mug from an earlier video (shown below).
Midget Mafia OG responded to more of Jshock's comments in videos in the following weeks, like on March 20th, he posted a TikTok[19] responding to a Jshock comment, gaining over 23,200 likes in three months (shown below).
As Jshock began amassing followers in the following months, some viewers continued the beef, like TikToker[20] @gerberttheegg on June 8th, 2025, who compared the two in a viral video, gaining over 146,200 likes in five days (shown below).
No Look Handshake
On April 17th, 2025, Jshock posted a TikTok[6] video at a deli in his hometown, gaining over 121,500 likes in two months (shown below). At the video's 30-second mark, Jshock gave an employee a handshake without looking at him or making eye contact. The video's top comment read, "No look handshake was crazy," gaining over 18,900 likes in two months.
On May 13th, TikToker[7] @yunglee431 reposted the clip in a GIFTok format, gaining over 293,600 likes in a month (shown below).
Alleged Sophie Rain Interactions
On June 5th, 2025, Jschock streamed on Twitch.[12] At one point, he talked about model Sophie Rain and purported that he was going to do a hot tub stream with her.[8]
On June 11th, Jshock posted a TikTok[9] in which he referenced Rain multiple times, gaining over 326,900 likes in two days.
Multiple TikTokers[10][11] later alleged that Rain had commented on the Jshock video, writing, "Where's my bite 🥲" (shown below). As of writing, the comment is no longer on the video, or it was faked.
The abovementioned screenshot came from TikToker[11] @fms.27_, who posted a video on June 12th, 2025, celebrating the comment. The video received over 164,600 likes in a day (shown below).
Fandom
In April and May 2025, Jshock amassed a fandom, which shared edits and memes about him.
For instance, on May 17th, 2025, TikToker[13] @dukegomez7 posted a video of him crying, either from joy or sadness, and telling the camera it was because of Jshock. Over one month, the video received roughly 229,600 likes (shown below).
On May 23rd, TikToker[14] @professional_unc posted a meme using a clip of Jshock saying he went to the wrong map. The caption read, "Bro, why don't you guys ever invite me to play?" Over three weeks, the post received over 577,100 likes (shown below).
Following
By June 13th, 2025, Jshock had amassed over 638,000 followers on TikTok,[15] over 15,000 followers on Twitch[16] and over 151,000 followers on Instagram.[17]
