About

JamWayne or Jam Wayne is a white, middle-aged, rural Southern American rapper from Alabama with a large TikTok following who became the subject of memes in early 2025. He dresses like a stereotypical Southern or country man, often wearing mirrored sunglasses, a baseball cap, a T-shirt and jeans, as well as sporting a grey beard. TikTok meme creators used his videos as the base layer for Hood Irony posts structurally similar to the Druski Dancing memes in which walls of text with slang overload covered most of the video. For those unaware of his name, they often called him the White Guy Rapping meme. JamWayne memes were largely popularized among TikTok's ironic JuggTok and SlimeTok communities. Interest in JamWayne from internet users outside of his fanbase related him to other meme rappers who are ironically adorned, mirroring memes about Chandler, another middle-aged, white rapper who went viral for the Running All Over the Place Blue in the Face / Shi is Bubonic video around the same timeframe.

Online Presence

Memes using JamWayne videos predominantly started in early 2025. Currently, the earliest known video to exploit a JamWayne video was shared by TikToker[7] @2andm4n on January 30th, 2025, showing JamWayne with text overlay reading, "U good slime? Haven't seen u in our Roblox femboy roleplay server in a while," gaining over 212,200 likes in a month (shown below).

The abovementioned video used the song "slime u out" by Osamason as its TikTok sound.[8] Others used the same sound for more JamWayne memes in the following weeks.

For instance, on February 10th, TikToker[9] @injustice_hub used the sound with a JamWayne video, adding bastardized AAVE slang like TS PMO ICL, amassing over 172,600 likes in 16 days (shown below).

The JamWayne templates were then co-opted by other meme trends in the following weeks. For instance, on February 17th, 2025, TikToker[10] @mrllime shared an ironic dank meme video adding to the then-recent parodies of the Memenade YouTube channel, using a JamWayne video as the background. It received over 154,900 likes in nine days (shown below).

Similar ironic dank meme videos were shared on TikTok[11] that used JamWayne clips in mid-to-late February 2025.
