Overview

Jamomile also known as Jamo_Mile or the Astronaut Streamer is a Twitch streamer who wears an astronaut helmet during his live streams. Jamomile is mostly known for his gaming content, playing games like Minecraft and his "Just Chatting" streams. Throughout 2022 and 2023, several clips from Jamomile's streams went viral, including a clip where he sings karaoke and a clip where he rants about how much he hates math.

History

Jamomile began streaming on Twitch sometime in 2021 and uploading clips from the streams to his TikTok page, @jamomile. The earliest clips, which he began uploading on March 19th, 2021, show him playing Minecraft with friends. He first appears with his astronaut helmet on a December 27th, 2021 TikTok^[1] upload where he makes fun of girls who have a crush on Glamrock Freddy from Five Nights at Freddy's, calling him "gay" and saying he takes prescription yass pills, garnering over 3.3 million views in just over a year (shown below).

Karaoke Stream Clips

On April 17th, 2022, @Jamomile posted a clip from a Twitch stream to TikTok^[2] of himself singing karaoke, garnering over 7.6 million views in nine months (shown below).

Jamomile Hates Math Viral Rant

On January 11th, 2023, @Jamomile posted a Twitch clip of himself ranting about why he hates math to TikTok,^[3] garnering over 6 million views in a week (shown below). The clip gained viral spread online. For example, on January 15th, the clip was posted by Twitter^[4] user @HUN2R, writing, "Swear this kid is the future of streaming," garnering over 253,000 likes and 39,000 retweets in five days. The clip's virality caused a large spike in followers and viewership for jamo_mile on Twitch, with SocialBlade^[5] showing a gain of over 15,000 followers on January 16th.

On January 19th, the Asmongold Clips YouTube^[12] channel uploaded a video of Asmongold reacting to the clip, garnering over 211,000 views in a day (shown below).

Following the viral math rant clip and a large boost in followers on Jamomile's Twitch page, people began posting fan art depicting Jamomile in his astronaut helmet to Twitter^[9][10][11] (examples shown below).
