It'sAGundam is a comedian, culture critic, streamer,^[2] and YouTuber vlogger^[1] who is mostly known for making YouTube rant videos and news about criticizing the hypocrisy of female Twitch streamers he refers to as Thots and E-girls. His YouTube channel has over 539,000 subscribers as of May 6th, 2021.

Origin

It'sAGundam joined YouTube on February 19th, 2015 to make comedy videos ranting and roasting about gaming-related controversies such as certain gaming corporations making unwise decisions, such as the CS:GO Gambling Scandal, the Quinnspiracy Effect, and video game journalists creating woke-type clickbait articles that focus on antagonizing gamers (example shown below).

Later, It'sAGundam would focus on streaming gaming and news about different types of female Twitch streamers along with Cancel Culture and roasts. He later added additional characters to his videos such as a dead skeleton name Stu, and a Simp puppet name Billy who watches streams of female Twitch streamers on his computer.

Reputation

While It'sAGundam has gained hundreds of thousands of subscribers in his six years on YouTube, he has also been criticized for his presence in the GamerGate controversy. He has made several videos about the topic and how media companies have discussed him (shown below).

Pokimane Controversy

It'sAGundam uploaded a video on May 13th, 2020, describing and roasting the fans of YouTuber and Twitch streamer Pokimane who give her^[3] money as simps. In particular, he mocked a hardcore Pokimane fan who tweeted about ending up evicted after failing to pay 4 months of rent and planning to sleep outside of a Starbucks with free wi-fi so he can give away the rest of the money to Pokimane. His video gained 150,000 views and 17,000 likes in three days.

Three days later, on May 16th, 2020, Pokimane reacted to It'sAGundam's video, claiming that her fans were just joking about sending her large amounts of money, including the fan who claimed they were homeless and still giving her money to her in large amounts. Pokimane then encouraged It'sAGundam's sponsors to drop him, causing a feud between both Pokimane and It'sAGundam. After her encouragements for It'sAGundam's sponsors to drop him, his video gained over 770,000 views and 93,000 likes. The two ultimately reconciled their differences.^[4]
