Filian is the name of an independent VTuber who primarily streams on VRChat. Since their debut in early 2021, Filian has promoted themself as a variety-style streamer who will collaborate with others and is known for their off-the-wall chaotic energy while streaming.

Filian's first stream was on the platform Twitch on April 18th, 2021, though no VODs have been backed up of the stream. Filian's earliest clips can be found during her stream of the game Biomutant, which took place on May 29th, 2021, one month after her debut. In the clip uploaded by Twitch user Parabotw^[1] Filian can be seen using a 2D non-face-tracking avatar at the bottom of the screen while she plays non-VR games (shown below).

Online History

Since her debut stream, Filian was creating content based around her playing games or having fun in VRChat, with VRChat creating many clips that would go viral. On June 2nd, 2022, the official YouTube^[2] channel for Filian uploaded a short in which Filian makes a Deez Nuts joke in Spanish using the name change from Facebook to Meta, which went viral on multiple platforms and earned the original clip over 2 million views in one year (shown below).

One of Filian's biggest collaborations was with the completely AI VTuber Neuro-Sama, leading to many interactions of fighting and arguing between the two. On October 18th, 2023, the YouTube fan channel FilianAndFriends^[3] uploaded a compilation of these moments into a video titled "Neuro can't stop GASLIGHTING Filian and it's HILARIOUS," which earned over 75,000 views in four months and showed several moments of their collaboration (shown below).
