Emma Langevin is a TikTok user, YouTuber and e-girl known for her short videos in which she tells various jokes and anecdotes in a signature New Jersey accent. In In May 2020, she faced criticism for following controversial people on Twitter. That September, her image was used as the cover for Corpse Husband's single "E-Girls Are Ruining My Life!"

On December 31st, 2019, Langevin uploaded the first video to her TikTok channel in which she tells a joke about amethyst stones (shown below). Over the next six months, the channel accumulated upwards of 6.3 million likes and 350,000 followers.
Langevin created the @EmmaLangevinXO Twitter feed on May 5th, 2020. On May 8th, Langevin uploaded a video addressed to people who leave her "hate comments," referencing the Don't Be Shy, Put Some More meme (shown below). Within two weeks, the video accumulated more than 4.1 million views, 56,000 likes and 4,800 retweets.
On May 19th, 2020, Langevin reposted a TikTok video to Twitter in which she tells a joke about being "physically incapable of throwing it back" due to scoliosis (shown below).
Twitter Follow Controversy
On May 19th, 2020, Twitter user @lycheemoji[1] retweeted one of Langevin's video along with the message "This little jersey egirl is following white supremacists so idk why yall are stanning her this hard" (shown below). Within 24 hours, the tweet gained over 37,000 likes and 4,100 retweets.
That evening, Langevin posted a thread responding to the accusation, saying that while she follows Blaire White, a YouTuber who describes her political views as center-right, she does not agree with her politics and thinks "racism is not & never has been okay" (shown below). Additionally, she posted tweets in support of the trans community and condemned a variety of other forms of bigotry.
Shortly after, YouTuber shoe0nhead posted a tweet about the criticism Langevin had faced, claiming she had been "canceled in a record 24 hours" after going viral.
Corpse Husband Single Cover
On July 6th, 2020, Langevin posted a set of selfies to Instagram,[2] garnering over 202,000 likes in two years. The second image (shown below) was used for Corpse Husband's single "E-Girls Are Ruining My Life!" The last image shows the progress bar for Corpse Husband's song.
On October 10th, 2021, Langevin and Corpse got matching Pon and Zi tattoos. Langevin tweeted[3] the tattoos that day, garnering over 115,000 likes and 5,500 retweets in 10 months (shown below).
