About
Casimiro Miguel Vieira da Silva Ferreira, better known as Casimiro or Cazé, is a Brazilian Twitch streamer and YouTuber. He is best known for streaming Brazilian soccer matches and e-sports, but he also streams many other types of content like cooking videos, pranks and videos on trending topics.
History
Casimiro Miguel[1] is a Brazilian sports journalist who joined Twitch[2] in September 2018 and saw a huge audience increase during the COVID-19 pandemic. The streamer[3] was already playing and commenting on titles like Valorant, Among Us, FIFA 21, Bloons TD 6 and even League of Legends, but what made the streamer establish his fanbase is the unique way in which he tells stories and comments on the most random situations possible, like the video below posted on August 23rd, 2021, in which he reacts to the burger that won the "Best Burger Awards" three times. Nearly a year after it was uploaded, the video has 4.7 million views and 244,000 likes on his YouTube channel.
Online Presence
The streamer explained his effort to increase his views during the pandemic in this December 31st, 2020 tweet showing how much his audience grew over a year. The post received 3,790 likes in almost two years and shows that Casimiro had 1.2 million unique spectators on Twitch that year (seen below).
Casimiro also popularized a few catchphrases he commonly says during his live streams, such as "meteu essa?"[4], "simplesmente," "apenas," and "que papinho, hein?" On September 7th, 2021, the streamer shared with his audience that a local donut shop he had just ordered food from had created a special donut arrangement with his catchphrase "meteu essa?" The clip, shown below, was also posted on his YouTube channel, receiving 4 million views and 244,000 likes in a year.
TikTok Audio Trend
Casimiro's live stream comments on multiple types of content made their way to TikTok when @biabonancin[5] uploaded this June 20th, 2022 video using audios of the streamer to rate her favorite Brazilian soccer teams. The video recieved over 15,200 views in five months(seen below). Her sound has 28,000 other videos tagged on the platform, with TikTokers using it to rate other things, like the best messages to receive from a lover.
