Casey Frey is an American comedian and professional dancer known for his skits on Vine and Instagram in which he plays an exaggerated womanizer and "bro" character.
History
Frey was born June 23rd, 1993.[1] He studied dance at the School Of Performing Arts and Cultural Education. On May 18th, 2013, he posted his first Vine video.[2] Over the course of the following three and a half years, he was able to accrue over 250,000 followers.[3] Some of his most popular Vines include a March 13th, 2016 post that gained over 209,000 likes (shown below, left) and a May 4th, 2016 post that gained over 100,000 likes (shown below, right). He was nominated for a Shorty Award for Best Viner of the Year in 2016.[3]
After Vine shut down, Frey grew his presence on Instagram.[4] As of January 10th, 2019, he has over 750,000 followers on the platform. There, he has gained millions of views with videos such as "10 bars. 10 seconds" which gained over 1 million views (YouTube embed shown below, left) and his video "can i sing for you" which gained over 2.8 million views (shown below, right). On YouTube, Frey has over 50,000 subscribers.[5]

What's Poppin refers to a video made by online comedian Casey Frey in which he appears to be high and rambles to his followers. The text of what he says in the video has been made into a copypasta and has been remixed on YouTube.
On November 30th, 2017, Instagram user Casey Frey posted a video of himself talking to his followers. In the video, he appears high, and given the nature of his other videos, he is likely joking. It has gained over 178,000 views.
The video was later uploaded to YouTube on January 24th, 2018 by user Virgo (shown below).
On January 19th, the text of the video was posted as a copypasta to /r/emojipasta, gaining 14 points. Parodies began appearing months later. On March 4th, Instagram user arnoldthepipeknight paired the clip with footage of user honeyantt crying, gaining over 131,000 views (YouTube embed shown below, left). On July 2nd, YouTube user Supersage posted a clip putting the video through a Snapchat filter, gaining over 11,000 views (shown below, right).
