Jack Turco, better known by his online alias Butter Dawg or the viral video in which he says, "I'm Setting A Meat Eating World Record," is a content creator and raw meat advocate who posts videos about his strictly carnivorous diet and his physical fitness. Turco began posting his lifestyle to his TikTok @_butter_dawg_ in September 2022, with videos of him eating pounds of steak and butter going viral on Twitter soon after.

Origin

On September 26th, 2022, Turco^[1] posted his first video showing his meal comprised of beef patties, butter, rice, raw eggs, liver and kefir. The video gathered 12,000 views and 300 likes in seven months (seen below, left). On October 10th, 2022, Turco posted his first video to go viral,^[2] showing himself eating butter sandwiched between two bull testicles, gathering 3 million views and 100,000 likes in six months (seen below, right).

Turco went on to have various videos go viral in the following months, including a post made on December 26th, 2022, in which he makes "testicle pops," gathering over 7 million plays and 470,000 likes in four months (seen below, left).^[3] His next viral post was on February 20th, 2023, in which he showed what he eats in a day, gathering over 7 million plays and 560,000 likes in two months (seen below, right).^[4]

On February 24th, 2023, Twitter^[5] user @ZeroSuitCamus quote tweeted a repost of the aforementioned video, adding that Turco is the "most tapeworm’d up individual I’ve ever seen." The tweet gathered over 100,000 likes in two months (seen below). Twitter^[6] user @SaeedDiCaprio also quoted the video saying, "the ppl that make vegan ads should hire him because I’ve never wanted to be vegan more than after watching this video," gathering over 250,000 likes in a similar timeframe.

On March 2nd, 2023, Twitter^[7] user @soddysucks reposted a video showing Turco attempting to set a "meat-eating world record," with the caption, "sneako when it's time to talk about andrew tate." The post gathered over 17,000 likes in a month (seen below).
