Pawri, also known as Ye Hamari Pawri Ho Rahi Hai is a catchphrase and reaction image meme featuring a girl saying "This is our party" in a mocking American accent. The video was first uploaded to Instagram by Pakistani creator Dananeer before clips with the phrase gained virality on Indian and Pakistani internet communities.

Origin

On February 6th, 2021, Instagram^[1] user @Dananeerr posted a video of her and her friends vacationing in a mountainous region, along with a caption that read, "No one: / When borgors visit northern areas: yeh hamari pawri horai haai," which translates to "we are having our party." The word borgors is a deprecatory slang term used to describe westernized Pakistanis, akin to the use of the word "Oreo" in the US. The video went viral and has gathered over 9 million views in over 2 years(seen below).
