About
"Ok Mario" "$100" "No Mario" refers to a series of memes based on a webcomic by artist Sloshua that shows Mario encouraging a man to pull his finger to "enter my amazing world of fun and fantasy intrigue," the man saying, "Ok," then telling him it'll cost $100, resulting in the man changing his mind and saying, "No Mario." The comic, which criticizes the pricing of Nintendo Switch 2 games like Mario Kart World, was originally posted to X / Twitter on April 2nd, 2025, and quickly became the subject of edits as an exploitable meme format, inspiring further memes, including redraws, over the following months.
Many examples of the meme criticize the high prices of video games and other forms of entertainment. Some people believed the man opposite Mario in the comic was meant to be Twitch streamer and YouTuber Vinesauce Vinny, resulting in Vinny doing a voiceover of the meme.
