Ok Garmin, Video Speichern or Okay Garmin is a viral video and audio clip of dashcam footage showing a German driver nearly colliding with another car, yelping and then saying, "Ok Garmin, video speichern," telling his Garmin dash cam to save the recording of the incident. The video was originally uploaded to the RLP Dashcam YouTube channel in October 2024 and became popularized as the subject of memes on TikTok and Instagram Reels in July 2025. As a meme, the audio of the man saying, "Ok Garmin, video speichern," is often edited over unrelated clips of crashes or near-accidents. The meme is sometimes paired with the Jarvis Commands meme.

On October 6th, 2024, YouTuber[1] RLP Dashcam uploaded a video titled, "Heftiger Unfall nach Abbiegen und Audi mit über 200 km/h fährt dicht auf!" that gained over 187,000 views in nine months. At the 3:37 timestamp, dashcam footage is shown in which a man nearly collides headfirst into another car. He yelps, stopping right before the crash, then yells, "Ok Garmin, video speichern," commanding his Garmin dashcam to save the recording of the near-accident.



On May 24th, 2025, Instagram[2] user plutos.reposts reposted a mirrored version of the clip as a Reel, with an Emoji added to the screen as a reaction to the driver's response, garnering over 2 million views and 42,000 likes in two months. This is the earliest known, relevant repost that led up to the memes.

The audio of the viral video spread further as a meme on TikTok and Instagram Reels in July 2025.

On July 21st, 2025, TikToker[3] @timcdg shared a reupload of the clip, garnering over 397,000 views in three days.

That day, TikToker[4] @averge.strengh.user posted a meme to the sound featuring the Jarvis Commands image, setting it to footage of a near-collision from Red Dead Redemption 2, garnering over 435,000 views in three days.


Also on July 21st, TikToker[5] @yannisnews posted a video referencing the meme, garnering over 630,000 views in three days.

On July 23rd, 2025, Instagram[6] user iclip.germany posted a meme attaching the audio to dashcam footage of another near-accident, garnering over 3,800 likes in a day.


Later that day, TikToker[7] @taggertwo posted a video setting the audio to footage of a car that seems to fly off the road and through the air, garnering over 174,000 views in a day.
