On September 9th, 2024, TikToker^[1] @micahdaileywhite posted a video skit about a man who gets a fortune cookie and instead of reading it, he just eats the whole thing to the shock of his friends in the car with him. The skit was called "That one friend who MIGHT belong in jail." Over 13 days, the video received roughly 3.3 million plays and 471,700 likes (shown below).

On September 11th, 2024, TikToker^[2] @nirami1 posted a video that used the skit's sound and showed a storyboard of their OC characters reenacting the video, gaining over 270,700 plays and 37,800 likes in 11 days (shown below).

On September 17th, TikToker^[3] @beanbop5 posted an animation that used the video skit's audio, showing Sonic characters Amy Rose and Knuckles, gaining over 294,400 plays and 54,500 likes in five days (shown below).

Also on September 17th, TikToker^[5] @ju1ceboxz posted another Sonic iteration with different characters, showing Sonic rotoscoped to the original video. Over five days, the animation received roughly 562,900 plays and 110,000 likes (shown below).
