On January 24th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @itsvenet posted a video consisting of a video of the house from Hello Neighbor under the caption, "Not my house but I know my way around," garnering over 80,000 views in three months. This is the earliest known meme to use the phrase.

Spread

The phrase garnered viral spread over the following months, further inspiring memes. On February 1st, 2025, X^[2] user @TechnoFromHypxl posted several screenshots of a specific house build in Minecraft, garnering over 5,900 likes in two months.

On February 15th, Instagram^[3] user starwars.ent posted screenshots from the Star Wars franchise with the caption attached, garnering over 5,000 likes in two months. On February 20th, Instagram^[4] user ripstart.memes posted versions of the meme using screenshots from The Big Lez Show, garnering over 10,000 likes in the same span of time.

On March 12th, X^[5] user @hwivesfanatic posted a photo of Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives' house under the phrase, garnering over 3,800 likes in a month. On March 18th, Instagram^[6] user threatllama posted several screenshots of several video game maps, including "Guardian" from Halo 3, using the phrase, garnering over 30,000 likes in two weeks.

On March 19th, X^[7] user @trhopicalwaves posted a version of the meme using a photo of the beach house from Jersey Shore, garnering over 20,000 likes in two weeks. On April 2nd, X^[8] user @WaterMuseum_ posted a screenshot of the Kirby Air Ride map under the phrase following the announcement of the game's sequel, Kirby Air Riders, garnering over 1,100 likes in under a day.
