About
No More Questions Because I'm A Little Mad is a phrase spoken by boxer Canelo Álvarez in response to a question about why he doesn't want to fight other Mexicans during a press conference. The clip was posted online on September 18th, 2022 and became a popular original sound in lip dub videos on TikTok that month.
Origin
On September 17th, 2022, Canelo Álvarez fought and won a boxing match against Gennadiy Golovkin.[1] In a post-fight conference, Alvarez is asked about who he might fight next and why he won't fight Mexicans, a statement he's made in the past.[2] Specifically, they ask if he'll fight David Benavidez, asking if he thinks another Mexican is After he's asked the question, Álvarez says he represents Mexico so he doesn't want to fight other Mexicans, but that he doesn't care, saying:
“When I say I don’t wanna fight Mexicans it's because I represent Mexico […] But I don’t care. I fight anybody and I fought all of my entire life anybody. What do you think? I don’t wanna fight this one Mexican? Don’t lack respect when you talk about me. I’ve faced the best out there. I’ve never ducked anyone.”
A reporter attempts to ask another question to Álvarez about whether he'd prefer if "fighters like Benavidez fight amongst themselves," to which Álvarez responds, "No more questions because I'm a little mad and I'm tired," and, "I don't fucking care." The clip was uploaded to the Fight Hub TV YouTube[3] on September 18th, garnering over 450,000 views in five days (shown below).
