About

No More Bananas. This Ape Only Wants Powerade refers to a Snapchat Discover story showing an ape or monkey getting blue Powerade poured into its mouth. The image was screenshotted and reposted to multiple platforms, becoming an exploitable format where meme creators replaced what was being poured, as well as the last word in the phrasal template. The original ape video was posted on TikTok in 2020 and is also related to the Get Me A Blue Powerade Bro meme trend.
