No Gay Has is a phrasal template used within the queer community to joke about self-described stereotypes. The format typically follows the pattern "No Gay Has All 5" and a number of stereotypical statements about gay people.

Origin

On November 9th, 2018, Twitter [1] user @sethdanie1 tweeted, "No gay has all 5: 1. Strong hairline 2. Fit bod 3. Self-Esteem 4. Good relationship with their Dad 5. Can host." The post received more than 4,300 retweets and 22,000 likes in less than five months (shown below).



Spread

Following the post, others began posting their own lists. On January 7th, 2019, Tumblr [2] user thottistani posted their five, which read "No gay has all 5: – A job – Good relationship with father – Neurotypical brain – Ability to top – Driver’s license." The post received more than 105,000 notes in about three months (shown below, left).

Several months later, on March 7th, Twitter[3] user @CoreyABarker tweeted, "No gay has all five: – Left Arm of the Forbidden One – Right Arm of the Forbidden One – Left Leg of the Forbidden One – Right Leg of the Forbidden One – Exodia the Forbidden One." The tweet received more than 640 retweets and 3,300 likes in one week (shown below, center). Additionally, Twitter[4] user @saltyandfat tweeted, "No gay has all five: -good skin -beard -drivers license -tolerance for dairy -friends." Within one week, the tweet received more than 495 retweets and 2,800 likes (shown below, right).

Several media outlets covered the meme, including Pink News,[5] PopBuzz[6] and more.
