Next Time on Dragon Ball Z is a catchphrase said by the narrator at the end of an episode of Dragon Ball Z show before he raises questions about upcoming plot points. The catch phrase has become a point of mockery for fans due to its ubiquitousness and the slow-moving plot of a typical Dragon Ball Z episode.

Origin

In the anime Dragon Ball Z, the narrator poses a few questions at the end of each episode that alerts viewers as to what plot points will be addressed in the next episode. (ex: shown below)

Spread

The catchphrase has seem some use as a meme. On October 28th, 2007, YouTube user japester uploaded a video of Kyle Herbert, the show's narrator, reading a joke spoofing the amount of filler in a Dragon Ball Z episode.
