About

Nancy Mace and Beans refers to a series of online jokes and memes about U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace loving beans. The meme stems from a photo of Mace eating a barbecue dinner on her 47th birthday, which she posted on Twitter / X in December 2024. A user named Kyle Kulinski (@KyleKulinski) quote-tweeted her post, writing, "That’s a Lot of Beans You Nasty Ass Bitch," referring to the side of beans at the center of her tray.

Heading into 2025, Kulinski's tweet became a catchphrase and memes depicting Nancy Mace with beans surfaced en masse, sometimes in the form of AI art and photoshops. In mid-June 2026, following Mace's loss in the South Carolina gubernatorial race, she posted a reference to the meme on her official Twitter account, causing the meme to go viral again.
