Myth You Can Suck Out the Venom from a Snake Bite is a series of photoshop exploitables tat shows a man with their mouth against a snakebite on a leg. Underneath the picture, there is a myth and a fact about sucking the venom from a snake bite. Online, people replace the "Fact" with something absurd or satirical.

Origin

On November 24th, 2017, Twitter [1] user @MythvsFactss posted the image with the text "Myth You can suck the venom from a snake bite" and "Fact Sucking out the venom of a snake bite is actually pretty dangerous." The post (shown below) received more than 1,400 retweets and 2,500 likes in less than one year.

Spread

On June 3rd, 2018, Instagram [2] user @timothy_usa posted the image with the text "Fact Every gun law is an infringement." The post (shown below, left) received more than 900 likes in two weeks.

Three days later, on June 6th, Redditor [3] Deadlydood36 posted an image with the fact "Islam is not a peaceful religion" in the /r/CringeAnarchy subreddit. The post (shown below, center) received more than 670 points (92% upvoted) and 50 comments.

That day, the meme grew in popularity as Redditor[4] Ezlo9983 posted a version with the "fact" "9/11 was an inside job" in the /r/dankmemes Within one week, the post (shown below, right) received more than 3,000 points (97% upvoted).
