My Plug Weird But He Chill refers to a series of memes, particularly image macros, where an image of an abnormal looking person is shown under a variation of the quote, "yooo my plug weird asf but he chill," a plug being someone who sells recreational drugs. The original meme was posted in August 2020 and became popularized over the following years as people associated new images with the caption.

On August 22nd, Twitter^[2] user @deeznutsdudete posted a new variation on the meme showing an older Asian man with a lamp on a boat, captioned, "Holy shit I just met up with my plug he's weird asf but also chill," gaining about two likes in the same rough span of time (shown below, left). On August 11th, iFunny^[3] user okbuddyretardmemer posted a video version of the meme captioned, "holy shit that's my plug he's weird asf but chill," gaining around 10 smiles in three years. On August 27th, 2021, Instagram^[4] user merciless.sungod posted a new version of the meme with the caption, "yooo my plug weird asf but he chill," garnering over 4,500 likes and inspiring the most popular caption on future versions of the meme (shown below, right).
