About
My First Jar of Pickles refers to a viral video from TikTok showing a white girl making pickles for the first time, saying, "My first jar of pickles. Shut up," and then appearing to say the N-word with a hard R. In the original clip, the girl actually says, "No, you're jealous," but her pronunciation sounded like the N-word to many, leading to shocked reactions online. The video was originally posted by TikToker Autumn Acord (@autumnacord) in July 2024. Going into August of that year, many made memes, skits and edits with the My First Jar of Pickles video, joking about her verbal slip.
