My 90 in a 30 Trend, also known as This My 90 in a 35 Trend, refers to a trend on TikTok in which users show off the music or song they would play while driving 90 miles per hour (MPH) in a 30 MPH zone or street. The trend gained traction in late May 2025, often featuring the user's favorite track to play while speeding in a typically low-speed limit zone.
Origin
Although it's unclear who posted the first video of the "My 90 in a 30" trend, on May 25th, 2025, TikTok[1] user @mylesjord posted the earliest known mention of it on the platform. In the video, the user added Lorde's "Ribs" as their song choice while driving 90 MPH on a 30 MPH street. The post (seen below) received more than 1,000 plays and 290 likes in a week.
Spread
On May 26th, 2025, TikTok[2] user @hoopzig posted an ironic video related to the trend, accompanied by a suspenseful soundtrack as the user mocked people who don't even have a car or driver's license joining in on the trend. The post amassed over 2 million plays and 325,000 likes in a week.
On May 31st, 2025, TikTok[3] user @rockstarluhq uploaded a video showing Eyedress' "Jealous" as his pick for the 90 in a 30 trend. The video (seen below) amassed more than 767,000 plays and 140,000 likes in four days.
On June 3rd, 2025, TikTok[4] user @iamcynthiizzle posted a video explaining what the 90 in a 30 trend means and how people can join it. The video (seen below) received roughly 697,000 plays and 19,000 likes in a day.
