"Money In the Grave x Last Christmas" or "Money In the Sleigh" is a mashup of the songs "Money In the Grave" by rapper Drake and "Last Christmas" by pop duo Wham!, produced by TikToker and DJ @noteliwood. The song was released on TikTok in mid-November 2025 and became notably popularized as an original sound over the following weeks, with a second original sound consisting of the song gaining similar virality that December. The song is often used over Christmas-themed dance and meme videos.
Origin
On November 15th, 2025, TikToker[1] and DJ @noteliwood posted a video in which he mashes up the Drake song "Money In the Grave" and the Wham! song "Last Christmas," garnering over 3.6 million views in three weeks.
Spread
The song was popularized throughout the last half of November 2025, resulting in over 160,000 uses of the original sound by early December. The song is mostly used in Christmas or winter-themed videos, but is also used in more general videos.
On November 19th, 2025, TikToker[2] @kermytherizzler posted a video of a Kermit the Frog puppet dancing to the song under the caption, "POV: Christmas playlist going to be different this year," garnering over 3.5 million views in two weeks.
That day, the creator of the mashup posted a full version to his YouTube[3] channel, Iameliwood, garnering over 100,000 views in two weeks.
On November 26th, 2025, TikToker[4] @silverblntz posted a video taken in a snowy parking lot set to the song captioned, "Love being invited to random side quests. Yes I will come with you to the dentist and your grandma's house," garnering over 23 million views in a week.
That day, TikToker[5] @getithowyouliveitt posted a video setting the song to clips from Drake music videos, garnering over 3 million views in the same span of time and starting a second original sound for the track that was used over 25,000 times in a week.
On December 3rd, 2025, TikToker[6] @ratoshidance posted an animation set to the song where a rat dances in front of a clown in a snowy park until the clown joins him, garnering over 4 million views in two days.
