On February 17th, 2014, YouTuber^[1] metsolver22 uploaded a clip from an episode of Tooned, an animated series by the British racing company McLaren and produced by Mobil 1, in which the character Professor M. sings a song about Mobil 1 oil, promoting its use. It is unclear exactly which episode it comes from.^[2] The video gained over 38,000 views in 11 years.

In March 2025, the song became the subject of memes on TikTok. For example, on March 28th, 2025, TikToker^[3] @proszen19 posted a video using a sped-up version of the song and video, garneringo over 740,000 views in three days.

On March 30th, TikToker^[4] @olliewolly87 posted a video of a Mobil 1 sticker on a modelling kit, attaching the video to it with a red circle, garnering over 291,000 views in a day.

On the same day, TikToker^[5] @yappingbell posted a meme that compares the sponsorship efforts of various racing teams, highlighting how elaborate Mobil 1's is with the song, garnering over 350,000 views in a day.
