On February 21st, 2020, Bloomberg's verified campaign Twitter [1] account posted three images of billboards, which were posted in Phoenix, Arizona that week. The billboards read "Donald Trump eats burnt steak / Mike Bloomberg likes his medium rare," "Donald Trump's wall fell over" and "Donald Trump chats at golf / Mike Bloomberg doesn't." They captioned the initial tweet, "Trump had a rally in Phoenix this week. We made sure there was a nice gift waiting for him!" The post was the subject of a ratio, receiving more than 6,600 comments, 3,500 likes and 750 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below).

Many criticized the billboard. Trump supporters claimed this was an example of The Left Can't Meme Twitter[2] user @HotMama83163983 tweeted,[2] "The left can't meme, they can't GIF and they sure as shit can't do social media. This is so lame" (shown below).

That day, Twitter[3] user @alx posted the blue billboard without text, encouraging people to replace the text. The post received more than 750 likes and 100 retweets (shown below, left). Others responded to the post with variants that mock and criticize Bloomberg (shown below, center and right).
