Michael Jordan Looking At iPad, also known as Surprised Michael Jordan, is a reaction image macro series featuring a screenshot from the American sports documentary series The Last Dance of former professional basketball player Michael Jordan reacting to comments made by fellow former player Isaiah Thomas.
Origin
On April 26th, 2020, Last Dance director Jason Hehir posted the image of Jordan looking at the iPad with the caption "Tonight" on Twitter. [7] The tweet received more than 18,000 likes and 2,100 retweets in less than two days (shown below).
On April 26th, 2020, during an episode of The Last Dance, Jordan watched a video of Thomas on an iPad and smirked when as he watched the clip. That night, Twitter account @Hustle_NBA shared the clip, receiving more than 18,000 views, 320 likes and 110 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below).

Shortly after, the Bleacher Report verified account[1] tweeted a screenshot of the scene with the caption "MJ's reaction to Isiah Thomas’ comments." The tweet received more than 30,000 likes and 3,600 retweets in less than one day (shown below).
That evening, Twitter[2] user @taylorlpate tweeted a screenshot of the scene with a joke about the price for food on Ubereats. They wrote:

The tweet received more than 58,000 likes and 14,000 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, left).
That night, former player Dwyane Ware tweeted,[6] "Mike has successfully become another MeMe." The tweet received more than 55,000 likes and 6,900 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, center).
Over the next few hours, others tweeted the image with various comments and compared it to other Michael Jordan memes (examples below, right).
