Meu Posicionamento (English: "my positioning") refers to an image macro of the Brazilian influencer Baueny Barroco sitting on a couch looking backwards with the overlay text "meu posicionamento," which is a Portuguese expression that can be translated as "my opinion." The image first became popularized in February 2023 and is used as a reaction image when people comment on something controversial on Twitter.

On December 28th, 2022, the Brazilian TikTok^[1] influencer Baueny Barroco uploaded a video titled "Meu Posicionamento" after some of her followers asked her opinion about the Gkay VS Fábio Porchat fight. Her sarcastic answer video garnered 122,000 plays and 15,500 likes in six months.

The viral TikTok video was turned into an image macro shortly after, adding the overlay text "meu posicionamento" to be used as a reaction image for Twitter users to comment on controversial topics. For instance, Twitter^[2] user @nickinodensetsu posted the meme on January 19th, 2023, with the caption "Soon, my position on the controversy of Hogwarts Legacy." The post (seen below) garnered 43 likes in five months.

Other variations of the meme were created in the following months. For example, on May 23rd, 2023, Twitter^[3] user @Negoleniker uploaded a version of the meme (seen below) featuring a mermaid statue, which received 1,170 likes and 40 retweets in three days. Twitter^[4] User @nomesdj posted another version of the meme featuring Brazilian funk singer MC Naninha, receiving 56 likes and 9 retweets in three days.
