Metro Man Sees Megamind and Roxie refers to a scene from 2010 animated film Megamind in which character Metro Man unexpectedly finds the main protagonist Megamind and the character Roxanne Ritchi inside his secret base. Online, an image of Metro Man wearing an expression of surprise and panic gained popularity as an object labeling meme.

Origin

On November 5th, 2010, animated film Megamind premiered in the United States.^[1] In one scene of the film, characters Megamind and Roxanne "Roxie" Ritchi enter a secret base of character Metro Man after the latter fakes his own death. Upon noticing Megamind and Ritchi in his hideout, Metro Man, dressed in a robe and eating a sandwich, wears an expression of surprise and panic.

On July 15th, 2019, Redditor LeakedMonster01 posted an object labeling meme based on the scene to /r/PrequelMemes subreddit,^[2] with the post accumulating over 34,900 upvotes in four days (shown below).
