On the same day, the gimmick account made its first several posts,[2][3] sharing memes featuring cats. Two of the earliest posts shared by the account gained over 60 retweets and 330 likes and 20 retweets and 200 likes, respectively, in roughly one year (shown below, left and right).

The account did not achieve viral presence on Twitter until November 26th, 2021, when it shared[4] a screenshot of a tweet made by user @buttpraxis, with the post gaining over 24,000 retweets and 206,700 likes in four months (shown below, left).

Starting in late November 2021, multiple tweets shared by the account went viral on Twitter, with many examples gaining over 200,000 likes. For example, on November 26th, 2021, the account posted[5] a meme that received over 46,400 retweets and 242,000 likes in four months (shown below, center). On December 24th, 2021, the account shared[6] a photograph that accumulated over 390,000 likes in three months (shown below, right).

The virality of the gimmick account continued into early 2022. For example, a tweet[7] posted on January 22nd received over 26,400 retweets and 264,400 likes in two months (shown below, left). A Hehe Cat meme posted[8] on February 19th received over 43,600 likes and 337,300 likes in one month (shown below, center).
