About

Meltmaxxing is an ironic meme and maxxing slang term inspired by TikToker Cookie King and the looksmaxxing community. In May 2025, Cookie King began posting "meltmaxxing" videos in which he would tuck in his chin to make himself look overweight or unattractive. The videos went on to inspire a TikTok trend where people copied the sound effects and visual effects of looksmaxxing edits, but instead showed themselves "meltmaxxing" instead. The meme continued to gain traction in June and July 2025.
