TikToker^[1] @xakei_pn posted a clip of them playing an out-of-tune piano on February 5th, 2024. The sound from the upload came to be used in "Me Showing Up To The Competition" later that month.

On February 19th, TikToker^[2] @lifeaccordingtoeli posted a video containing a text overlay that read, "When you are in a man-made horrors beyond comprehension competition with your friend, and they suggest a device capable of slowing our perception of time, allowing prisoners to serve thousands of years for their crimes." The post gathered over 118,000 plays and 10,000 likes in a week (seen below, left).

On February 20th, the TikToker^[3] posted another video, this time reading, "When you show up to the being late competition and your opponent isn't there yet." The post gathered over 7 million views and 1 million likes in six days (seen below, right).
