Me Listening to My Unorganized Playlist refers to a series of memes based on a viral supercut of YouTuber Young Dabo listening through a "400-hour-long unorganized playlist," his reactions changing drastically with the mood of the songs comprising it. In September 2022, the format gained virality on Twitter and Reddit as users replaced songs from the video with their favorite music albums and soundtracks. Origin
On June 19th, 2022, TikToker[9] _wlife posted a supercut of music critic and YouTuber Young Dabo reacting to music paired with songs from their personal playlist, captioning the video, "My playlist on shuffle." The video received over 3.1 million views and 870,000 likes in four months (shown below).
On September 7th, 2022, TikToker[1] @sjwjebda posted a TikTok using a cropped version of @_wlife's video, pairing it with their own Spotify playlist. The video gained over 298,000 views and 62,000 likes in three weeks (shown below).
The video gained initial popularity among K-pop stans on Twitter, although its exact first use in memes is currently unknown. On September 12th, 2022, Twitter[2] user @youples posted the earliest found meme based on the video, replacing the songs with Purple Kiss discography. The meme gained over 1,100 views, 50 retweets and 160 likes on Twitter in two weeks (shown below). More K-pop versions of the meme were posted on Twitter[3][4] on that day and in the following days.

Later on September 12th, 2022, Twitter[5] user @AkGoingPlaces posted the earliest version based on a video game soundtrack (an Arcknights meme) that gained over 15,000 views, 830 retweets and 2,300 likes in two weeks (shown below).
On September 21st, Twitter[6] user @centraldamiku posted the first version of the meme to go viral, comprised of a VOCALOID meme that gained over 350,000 views, 12,900 retweets and 47,100 likes in five days (shown below).
Following the VOCALOID version, the format achieved virality on Twitter. For example, on September 23rd, Twitter[7] user @obsess__possess posted a Gorillaz meme that accumulated over 209,000 views, 6,000 retweets and 26,800 likes in three days. On September 24th, gimmick Twitter[8] account @ImagesPMD posted a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon version that garnered over 150,000 views, 4,100 retweets and 16,400 likes in two days.
