About
Maya Oo refers to memes and discussions about the catchphrase "maya oo," attributed to a dialogue delivered by Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor's character "Lucky" from the 2006 film Golmaal. Lucky is a character with a speech impediment, and "maya oo" is a non-intelligible delivery of the Hindi swear word "Maderchod" (translation, motherfucker). The phrase came under renewed popularity after Tusshar Kapoor tweeted a joke alongside an advertisement featuring a mute character, and various internet users began making edited screenshots of movie dialogues where "Maderchod" is replaced with "Maya Oo."

A clip of the dialogue can be accessed via upload to YouTube[1] by the channel Shemaroo Comedy, where it gathered over 1.8 million views in the 4 years since its upload on December 17th, 2018 (seen below).
