The MartinSugar2K Intro refers to the animated video intro for YouTuber MartinSugar2K, also known as Martin Sugar 2K. In the meme, he is depicted as a Black man wearing a purple-and-black polka dot shirt, and his cartoon avatar is shown pressing a video game controller in front of a purple background. The intro became the subject of memes and online jokes in 2025, although MartinSugar2K first used the intro in 2022. Several posts joked about the intro being bad, while others incorporated it into Hood Irony videos edits as an exploitable element. A GIF of the MartinSugar2K Intro also amassed usage in TikTok and Instagram comment sections, commonly paired with the Caricature Guy GIF.

On October 9th, 2022, YouTuber[1] MartinSugar2K uploaded a Let's Play video, which started with an animated intro, showing himself as a cartoon pressing on a video game controller in front of a purple background. The video was the first of MartinSugar2K's to use the intro. Over three years, it earned over 24,100 views.

A few years later, on July 22nd, 2025, Instagram[2] user @fitzwaddler posted a low-quality reupload of MartinSugar2K's intro as a Reel, gaining over 69,300 likes in four months.




On September 19th, Instagram[3] user @daddi_floof reposted the clip, gaining over 63,500 likes in two months.

On September 30th, 2025, TikToker[4] @fluffball_felipe reposted the clip, gaining over 19,800 likes in two months.

On October 13th, TikToker[5] @grungalz posted the clip and added a text overlay caption reading, "Son😭😭😭😭," resembling the Charlie Kirk Son😭😭😭😭😭 meme. Over one month, the video received over 44,700 likes.

On October 16th, 2025, TikToker[6] @julioiskindacoolio shared the MartinSugar2K Intro, adding a text overlay caption that read, "Genuinely would click off a video if I ever saw an intro like this." Over one month, the video received over 738,400 likes.
