Markiplier's "Jingle Jingle Jingle" is a viral video clip taken from a live-stream of Markiplier playing SCP-087-B. The video clip has been used as an exploitable to use with various characters and scenarios.

Origin

The clip comes from the Markiplier video titled "SCP-087 B: EXTENDED EDITION", which was first streamed on YouTube^[1] on September 27th, 2022. In the beginning of the video (shown below), Markiplier talks about The Backrooms, and how endless landscapes originated in SCP. As he's explaining this, he frequently jingles and object in front of the camera while saying "jingle jingle jingle" to try to maintain the viewer's attention.

On September 29th, 2022, the part was clipped and reposted to TikTok by jacksepticeye.101^[2] where it received over 1.2 million views and over 147,000 likes in two years.

Spread

On October 20th, 2022, YouTube vtuber deme^[3] posted a video (shown below) of herself being distracted by Markiplier's video while talking about wanting to play Elden Ring. The video received over 4 million views in over two years.

On March 28th, 2023, TikTok user _t0ken_^[4] posted an animatic (shown below) of Markiplier's video using an AU of Sans from Undertale. The video received over 1.3 million views and over 92,000 likes in two years.

On April 25th, 2023, TikTok user jordania.23^[5] posted a video (shown below) which recreated Markiplier's scene. The video received over 3.3 million views and over 650,000 likes in two years.

On June 5th, 2023, TikTok user PapaOwlBear^[6] posted the video (shown below), but edited into a Dungeons & Dragons meme with the caption "Trying to drop lore on my players but they keep losing focus at the table". The video received over 875,000 views and over 165,000 likes in nearly two years.

On April 24th, 2024, TikTok animator puddleartstudio^[7] posted an animatic (shown below) using Markiplier's audio with the caption "pov: you have a short attention span gf". The video received over 13.4 million views and over 2.4 million likes in one year.
