About
Mamadou the Uber Eats Delivery Guy refers to a prolific Uber Eats delivery person in New York City, whom many New Yorkers believe to have encountered. The phenomenon was brought to light on social media sites like TikTok and Twitter / X in 2025, following multiple reports of a driver named Mamadou seemingly delivering to people all across the city.
The widely held experience led to speculation and a conspiracy theory that multiple Uber Eats drivers and bicyclists were using the name Mamadou on the app for an unknown ulterior motive. The first name "Mamadou" is notably derived from the Arabic name Muhammad or Mohammad, making it very common. Memes about Mamadou mirror similar trends about specific Uber Eats delivery guys, like Amir the Uber Eats Guy and the Uber Eats Driver Powerscaling trend that powerscaled the careers and G.O.A.T. statuses of multiple drivers like "Manjeet" and "Bobir."
