"Lovely Sad" by 24GH, also known as Eeee Yaaa Eeee Yaaa, refers to an Afrobeat song by African singer and comedian 24GH titled "Lovely Sad," which he shared on TikTok in August and September 2025, via snippets of him performing the song in which he opens his mouth wide for each note. The song became a trending TikTok sound and audio in the following weeks, largely used in memes and general shitposting.
Origin
On August 18th, 2025, Ghanaian singer and comedian 24GH shared a video on his TikTok[1] account, @24ghcomedy2, that showed him performing the vocals on a song with a band in a studio setting. The onomatopoeia of his vocals roughly resembled, "Eeee yaaa eeee yaaa," or, "Eya eya ya." The video had a text overlay caption that gave the song a title, "Lovely Sad." Over two months, the video received roughly 2.2 million likes.
Spread
In the following days, 24GH shared several TikTok[2][3][4] videos that showed him singing, "Lovely Sad." Each went viral in their own right, amassing over hundreds of thousands of views each.
The original video's TikTok sound[5] was used by several creators in the following days. For instance, on August 19th, 2025, TikToker[6] @vazagh used the sound, showing himself from a camera angle that made him appear like a creature, seen lip dubbing the song. Over two months, the video gained over 16,300 likes.
In early September 2025, several Clash Royale TikTokers began using the sound. For instance, on September 4th, TikToker[7] @migx330 set gameplay footage to "Lovely Sad," gaining over 108,900 likes in a month.
On September 15th, 2025, TikToker[8] @someguywithmemesk posted a video with the song, showing himself stumbling around with his mouth agape. Over 16 days, the video gained over 852,100 likes.
On September 17th, TikToker[9] @p1w0rac shared a video following the "How I Feel Being On X" phrasal template, reading, "How it feels being on EEAAEEAAAAA YAYA YAYA while your classmates are still on Π’ΠΎΡΡ β€οΈ, 67, W Speed and I'm a Dude Man. Be niche like me, twin." The video received over 630,500 likes in two weeks.
By October 1st, 2025, the primary TikTok sound[5] for "Lovely Sad" had amassed over 24,700 posts.
