About

Living Amongst The Normies is a reaction image and image macro using a still from the 2023 film The Killer that features the lead character, played by Michael Fassbender, musing on his isolation from others. The image was widely used online following the release of the movie because of its embrace of the term "normies" and depiction of what many perceived as sigma male isolation.

Origin

The Killer, directed by David Fincher, is a Netflix film which was released on November 10, 2023 on Netflix.[4] The film is about a professional assassin who listens to The Smiths constantly and botches a hit, leading to complications. The scene showing Fassbender on a bus narrates the assassin's internal monologue.[5]
