About
Let's Say, Hypothermically is a redraw meme based on a webcomic by X / Twitter user @CariSwump in which a character says "hypothermically" instead of "hypothetically" and then freezes into a block of ice, as "hypothermia" relates to freezing. The comic was posted in late June 2025 and went viral on X shortly after, becoming the subject of edits and redraws over the following days.
Origin
On June 28th, 2025, X[1] user @CariSwump posted a comic that garnered over 105,000 likes and 5,000 reposts in two days. In the comic, a person approaches another person, saying, "Hey hey dude listen, let's say, hypothermically," then freezes into a block of ice. The joke is that the character said "hypothermically," referencing "hypothermia," which happens when the body gets too cold, rather than "hypothetically."
