"Legs, Hips, Body" was written by Kandi Burruss and released on April 8th, 2014, on the A Mother's Love soundtrack (seen below).^[1]

On May 18th, 2022, Burruss posted a video of herself walking set to the tune, gaining over 336,000 likes in one month (shown below).

Spread

As the song began spreading on TikTok, some joked about its timpani-heavy beat. For example, on May 19th, 2022, TikToker @thegrinchlefttoenail said the song had a Donkey Kong beat, gaining over 75,000 likes
in roughly one month (shown below, left). Similarly, on May 28th, TikToker @hannahwhoknows joked it was a Temple Run-type beat, gaining over 318,000 likes in roughly two weeks (shown below, right).

The song also was the subject of numerous skits on TikTok, often featuring a man dancing in a humorously seductive manner. For example, on May 24th, TikToker demetriusbarbaree posted a skit that gained over 1 million likes in three weeks (shown below, left). The same day, user itsjustgalvin posted the song with a joke about Pixar Moms, gaining over 490,000 likes in a similar timeframe (shown below, right).
