Learning to be Spider-Man refers to a series of object-labeled image macro series based on a shot from the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Origin
On December 14th, 2018, the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released in the United States.[1] In the film, the character Peter Parker mentors Miles Morales on how to be the superhero Spider-Man. Morales mimics Parker's every move, including putting his hand on his chin (shown below, left).
On January 2nd, 2019, Redditor [2] RoseBladePhantom posted an object-labeled screenshot from the scene, mocking the D.C. Extended Universe learning from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The post received more than 1,500 points (96% upvoted) and 25 comments (shown below, right).
