The pictures were quickly parodied by Twitter users as though Lady Gaga were giving the National Guard orders. For example, user @rhymeswithbeg^[2] tweeted the picture with the caption "Find Madonna. Bring her to me," gaining over 24,000 retweets and 180,000 likes (shown below, left). User @actualjack^[3] tweeted a joke about as though she were conducting the troops like a dance troupe, gaining over 7,900 retweets and 68,000 likes (shown below, right).
