About
Kylie Jenner's "WAP" Cameo Remixes refer to video edits of socialite Kylie Jenner's appearance in the music video for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP". In the video, Jenner appears in a hallway and enters a mysterious room. Parody remixes offer humorous examples of what Jenner walks into.
Origin
On August 7th, 2020, Cardi B released the video for "WAP" featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The music video features a cameo from Kylie Jenner, who silently walks down a hallway before entering a mysterious room (shown below).
Spread
The cameo was unpopular to some viewers, who created a Change.org petition to have her removed.[1] Other fans made parodies of her appearance. For example, Twitter user @TheExcelllence posted a parody in which Jenner opens to the door and recreates her Rise and Shine video, gaining over 140,000 likes (shown below, top). User @louis_hanson_ made a video in which Jenner walks in on him using the bathroom, gaining 100 likes (shown below, bottom). The remixes were covered by Junkee.[2]
