Kylie Jenner's BFF refers to a series of jokes and memes regarding the reported issues between celebrity Kylie Jenner and her long-time friend Jordyn Woods. These jokes general featured people auditioning for the role of or offering to be Jenner's new friend.

Origin

On February 19th, TMZ^[1] reported that Khloe Kardashian, Jenner's sister, had ended her relationship with Tristan Thompson, after learning that he had allegedly was unfaithful to her by starting an intimate relationship with Woods. Many speculated that this would end Wood's relationship with Jenner.

Spread

That day, many online joked about the breakup between friends. For example, Twitter ^[2] user @invtble tweeted an Elizabeth Gillies Walking video with the caption "me on my way to take Jordyn’s spot as Kylie Jenner’s new bff." The tweet received more than 36,000 retweets and 132,000 likes in two days (shown below).

Throughout the day, people continued to joke about the reports. Many posted videos of people either engaging in stunts or performing dances with some variation of the caption "me auditioning to be Kylie Jenner's BFF." Twitter^[3] user @adkj_ tweeted the caption with a clip of a woman dancing. The post received more than 72,000 retweets, 200,000 likes and 3 million views in two days (shown below).
