Kinsley Murray's National Anthem refers to a viral video of 8-year-old girl Kinsley Murray singing the American National Anthem at the Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors basketball game. Her U.S. flag-styled dress and vocals were compared to Fergie's 2018 National Anthem, which sparked jokes and memes on social media in late February 2024.

On February 26th, 2024, before the Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors NBA game at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, 8-year-old Kinsley Murray sang the American National Anthem while wearing a dress inspired by the country's flag. The moment was shared on the Indiana Pacers's YouTube^[1] channel (shown below) on February 28th, which amassed roughly 10,000 views and 80 likes in a day.

Social media users quickly joked about the performance after it appeared online. For instance, on February 28th, 2024, TikTok^[2] user @tiahranelson posted a TikTok duet recording her reaction while the girl sings (shown below, left), which amassed over 6.5 million plays and 906,000 likes in a day.

On the same day, TikTok^[3] user @skifukindaddle posted a video with the overlay text, "Which billionaire's kid is this bc there's no way this is just a random child that they allowed to do this," which amassed more than 159,000 plays and 24,000 likes in a day (shown below, right).

The girl's National Anthem performance was also compared to Fergie's 2018 National Anthem on X, such as user @liamgareau^[4] who said in a post on February 28th, 2024, "Babe wake up new Fergie just dropped." The post (shown below) amassed more than 1.6 million views and 19,000 likes in a day.
