Kim Kardashian's Refrigerator refers to a series of reactions to the amount of food found in a photograph of Kim Kardashian refrigerator.

Origin

On January 7th, 2020, Kardashian posted an advertisement for her clothing brand Skims in which Kardashian can be seen standing in front of her open refrigerator.^[1] The post received more than 7,700 likes and 285 retweets in less than two days (shown below).

Spread

Following the post, people began reacting to the fridge by posting jokes about the lack of food. Twitter^[2] user @The_real_shoki, for example, tweeted, "Yall eat air too??coz I see no food in that fridge ma’am" (shown below, left).

Throughout the day, others posted jokes to mock the contents of the refrigerator (examples below, center and right).

The following day, Kardashian responded to the criticism on her Instagram Stories. She later posted the video on her Twitter page, where the video received more than 6.2 million views, 95,000 likes and 7,600 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below).
