About

Kevin Gates "Keep the Money Flipping It's All I Know" or "Untamed" refers to lyrics from the Kevin Gates song "I'm a Dog." The rap verse went viral on TikTok in August 2025, inspiring its use as a memetic audio and sound in the following months. The song was originally released in December 2011. The beat, produced by Jungle Beats, is also the instrumental used in the Meek Mill song "Ima Boss."

Origin

On December 12th, 2011, the YouTube[1] channel Dead Game Records #youknowthename shared a music video for the Kevin Gates song "I'm a Dog," which used the same Jungle Beats instrumental as Meek Mill's "Ima Boss."[2] Over 14 years, the video received over 2.5 million views.

At the video's 1:55-minute mark (shown below), Gates raps, "Keep the money flipping, it's all I know / Been in and out of prison for a while, I know / Grew up in the ghetto, thugging in the game / They did they best to break us, but forever we remain / Untamed, untamed, untamed…"

Lyrics

Keep the money flipping, it's all I know
Been in and out of prison for a while, I know
Grew up in the ghetto, thugging in the game
They did they best to break us, but forever we remain
Untamed (x17)
