Kanye and Jay-Z Reunion refers to photos of American rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z interacting at Diddy's 50th Birthday party in December 2019. Although the two greeted each other warmly in other photos, Twitter users focused on two images in particular in which Jay Z looks like he is snubbing Kanye.

Origin

On December 14th, Diddy hosted a 50th Birthday party. On December 15th, 2019, Twitter user @NolaMarianna^[1] tweeted two images featuring Jay Z, Diddy Pharrell and Kanye West in which Jay Z looks angry at Kanye. The images were caption, "The look on Jay Z’s face is sending me 😂Kanye West seems really pretty happy to see him and hang out with all their pals tho lol" (shown below). The tweet gained over 3,400 likes and 560 retweets in three days.

On December 15th, 2019, Twitter user @__rapalert^[4] shared a photo of Kanye West and Jay-Z warmly greeting each other at the party (shown below, left). the image accumulated over 1,600 likes and 380 retweet in three days. That same day, Twitter user @iBiteiStrike^[2] captioned one of the party images "Jay forgot to ask 'who all gonna be there'" (shown below, right). The tweet received over 27,500 likes and 7,900 retweets in three days.

On December 16th, 2019, rapper 50 Cent commented on the photos by posting one to Instagram^[3] (shown below, left). The image gained over 455,260 likes in two days. That day, Twitter users like @karlogan_^[5] continued to create unique captions for the images (shown below, right).
